    About Me: You know it's no joke when Stevie Wonder asks another singer "you trynna' take my job son?" This is the exact question Stevie asked 18 year old singer/songwriter Kay after Kay performed Stevie Wonders "Superstition" for him. From the day Karim Diane AKA Kay was born in Washington, DC, he was destined for stardom. Recently, Kay has been featured as the artist of the week at Hit Quarters (www.HitQuarters.com/KayAOTW), as well as featured THREE TIMES and voted Best Male Vocalist AND lyricist for three consecutive weeks at GarageBand.com. With well over 1.85 million (1,850,000) plays and views on his myspace, and about 3,000-5,000 plays and views per day, he is beginning to become noticed by the majors. Brooklyn rapper Gravy, soon to become B.I.G. in the Notorious B.I.G. movie, has taken notice of Kay and will begin to work with him in the summer of 2008. Kay has already tore the house down in performances at the famous Village Underground in New York City. Kay has opened for Hurricane Chris, and has been chosen to soon appear on BET 106 and Park WildnOut Wednesday. He is completing his senior year of high school, after which he will be recording in professional studios in New York City during the summer of 2008. He has just recently been accepted to The University of Chicago, and he will be moving there to continue building his career come September.
